Consider a sender with a transmit power of 20 dBm. Assume a path loss exponent of 2.5, and a reference distance of 1 meter. The path loss at the reference distance can be calculated using the Friis formula; assume unity channel gains and system loss, and a frequency of 2.4 GHz. Using the Log-distance Path Loss formula, plot the following figures: a) x-axis: distance between sender the receiver, which ranges from 50, 60, 70, 150 meters. y- axis: received power (in Watts). Assume X, = 0. b) Repeat part (a) for each X, value of 2, 5, 10. Hint: this means your received power is a random variable.
