  3. Determine the carrying value of the debentures for the Corporation that would be disclosed on the month end statement of the financial position as of 31 May 2019. (3 marks)
  4. Prepare the required journal entries for the following dates: (6 marks)
    1. 1 October 2019 (to record debenture issuance)
    2. 31 March 2020 (to record quarterly interest payment of the debentures)
    3. 31 May 2021 (to accrue year-end interest of the debentures).
