On $25$ September $2024$ Boaz enters into a contract with Gideon in terms of which Gideon is to build a double carport at Boaz$$s house. Boaz specifically asks for enforced aluminium to be used as it is much stronger than single$-$plated aluminium. The parties further agree that Gideon will deliver the material to Boaz$$s house on $29$ September $2024$ and commence the construction on $1$ October $2024.$ They agree that the building will be completed by $25$ November $2024.$

Gideon delivers the material and commences building timeously but on $16$ October $2024$ after most of the building has been completed a hailstorm hits the area and most of the newly built carport is destroyed $(5$marks$).$
