On 21 February 2019 Sarah attended an evening cocktail party for people engaged in the second-hand furniture trade. She overheard a second-hand furniture buyer say he'd heard that Neil Whatever, the reality TV show judge from a popular home renovation show, had made an offer to buy Paul's business for $550,000. Around 4.30pm on 22 February Sarah posted a letter to Paul in which she accepted Paul's offer to sell the business. As she was returning from posting the letter, Sarah met Paul outside his house. Paul said, Sarah: I'm sorry but I received an offer I could not refuse. I've sold the business to Neil Whatever this morning and he's already given me the cheque . I'm sure you understand .' The day before Sarah had received expert advice that Paul' car would sell for $30,000 at most if placed on the market. She said, Hmmm, not sure I do, but look: I'll pay you $32,000 for the Bentley.' Paul replied that he had changed his mind about selling the car and was going to give it to his son as a graduation present. Advise Sarah as to what rights she may have against Paul
