Looking into my waste bin at the end of the day, I typically find a decent amount of paper waste from receipts or packaging, food scraps, and occasionally plastic wrappers or containers. However, I make a conscious effort to minimize waste wherever possible. I may generate additional waste throughout the day, such as disposable coffee cups or plastic utensils from takeout meals. Any paper waste generated during work is usually recycled, and food scraps are composted if available.Reflecting on my daily waste output, a significant portion of it could be avoided with better planning and conscious consumption. For instance my bin would have cardboard from Amazon packages! I know I need to stop ordering stuff online, but I have an issue with impulsive online shopping, lol. I know that if I stop ordering things, my personal waste could be a lot less! The good side of getting all those boxes is that I try to reuse them for gifts, so I don't have to buy any more boxes!
