They arise through voluntary exchanges or acquisitions consistent with the Proviso 2. They are never just: everyone is entitled to an equal share in the distribution of wealth and income 3. They are reasonably expected to be to everyone's advantage and attached to positions and offices open to all 4. They correspond to inborn differences in merit or talent 5. They arise from a democratic voting procedure 6. They are not caused by, do not embody, and do not cause, unjust social relations
