On April 10, Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd. contracted with Sell Nuff Ltd., a small company offering computer services, to repair thirty computers by April 25 for $50,000. On April 15 when only five computers were repaired, Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd. realized that Sell Nuff Ltd had undervalued the work and that they might not meet the deadline for completing repairs. Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd., which needed to have the computers repaired by April 25 in order to perform a very lucrative contract, decided to offer Sell Nuff Ltd an extra $30,000 to finish the work on time. Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd. also asked Sell Nuff Ltd to develop a computer programme for tracking the status of orders it receives. For this , Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd. agreed to pay Sell Nuff Ltd. $10,000. Sell Nuff Ltd completed the repairs on April 25 and also delivered and installed the computer programme. Jam Dung Office Systems Ltd. refuses to pay Sell Nuff Ltd the $30,000 it promised for completing the work on time and the $10,000 for developing the computer programme, saying that it was all part of the original deal.
