On November 19, 2022 Kani Bowens was driving home from celebrating his uncle Barry Obama's 35th birthday. Apparently, all drinks were on his best friend Trevor and Kani had a little too much to drink. Thinking he was just a little buzzed he made his way down High Street to his home when crazy Christopher Crowe was driving down the wrong side of the High Street with no lights on at 7pm. If Kani was not as tipsy he probably could have avoided hitting Christopher when he was coming doing the road. According to his medical records his blood alcohol was .079 once he was at the hospital. Both men received injuries, they spent the night in the hospital and have had months of rehabilitation. This is Kani second DUI in the past two years other than that he has no other driving citations or infractions. Christopher has been citated for speeding and eluding three times and is currently on probation for the eluding charge. Christopher has USAA for his insurance company and Kani has State Farm. Both insurance companies are stating that each the other drivers are liable please determine if your client has a viable case based on what you have learned in class and researched.
