On October 1, 2023, my client Lead Foot, was arrested in Orlando, Florida for driving under the influence of alcohol. When I meet him at the Orange County Jail, he tells me he doesn't remember anything because he was so wasted. So of course he wants to go to trial and fight the case. I tell him before we do anything rash let me interview the officer who arrested him.

On October 10, 2023 I interview the officer who arrested him. His name is Sgt. Dudley Doright of the Orlando Police Department. Sgt. Doright tells me the following:

On October 1, 2023, Lead was driving his 2010 Little Red Corvette down Orange Ave. It was 2:30am on a Saturday. The car was beautiful and no one except drunks are out at that hour so he decided to follow it. The car proceeded to turn east onto Colonial Drive. During the turn, the car stopped appropriately at a red light and utilized a turn signal. The car never broke the speed limit and maintained a single lane. After about ten minutes following the vehicle with no traffic infractions witnessed, Doright decided to pull the car over for a courtesy check of the driver to determine his well-being since it was so late at night. Immediately upon making contact with Lead, Doright realized he was wasted and arrested him.

I want to file a Motion To Suppress the Traffic Stop. I think the law requires a law enforcement officer to witness a traffic infraction before being able to pull over a vehicle. Draft the Motion using the following identifying information.
