On pages 78-79, it is suggested (from a story told by a Russian journalist named Nicholas Notovitch) that Jesus spent his childhood in India, where he studied Buddhism; the implication here is that Jesus tried to teach Buddhism to his disciples. You can read about this on pp. 78-79 of the reading.
