On the 15th December, A supplied two second-hand cars to B another car dealer on 'sale or return basis', the arrangement being that if B did not sell them during X'mas season, then they should be returned to A. One car was sold during the period. On 15th January, A wrote to B saying that if the cars were not returned in 3 days he would regard them as having been sold to B.
