On the same line of thinking as Diversity we have the various cultures. There are companies like John Deere that do extensive training on the new culture before the employee and their families go on an overseas assignment. These assignments usually last two or three years. They have found that having the training for the family members is very cost effective as having unhappy family members puts a lot of stress on the employee. This way the chances for success are greatly increased for the employee, company and family members. Many other companies do the same type of training of the various cultures
