One method of international business is FDI. You can find the data on FDI (and on the US Balance of Payment) on BEA. You can see that while US firms make direct investments overseas, at the same time we attract investments from foreign firms into the US. Look at Table 1 (page 6), section Europe, in this Release and answer the following questions:

- Which European countries attract the most significant amounts of direct investments from the US firms? Compare the FDI to those countries with the FDI in France or Danmark.

- Offer 1 possible reason for the large difference in the previous question
