. One method of separating acetone from cellulose acetate is to pass a current of air on the cellulose acetate fibers. To know the properties of mixtures air-acetone, the process control department needs a moisture chart to the air-acetone system. After investigation, it was found that a humidity interval from 0 to 6.0 and temperature from 5 to 55 C. Plot the following regions from a moisture graph for the air-acetone system at the total pressure of 760 mm of Hg:

a) percentage humidity lines for 50 to 100%;

b) saturated volume versus temperature;

c) latent heat of acetone versus temperature;

d) humid heat versus humidity; e) adiabatic cooling lines for adiabatic saturation temperatures of 20 and 40 C, and f) wet bulb temperature lines (psychrometric), for temperatures of the humid bulb of 20 and 40 C. The necessary data is presented in Table 19.1. For acetone vapor, cp = 1.47 J/g C and h/(MB ky ) = 1.7 J/g C.
