One night, Amir and Ben went out to a sports bar. After a night of heavy drinking, Ben became severely intoxicated and passed out. Amir drove Ben home, carried him into the house, and placed him in bed. As Amir was about to leave, he decided to play a practical joke on Ben. Amir carried Ben to the closet and placed him inside. Amir then closed the closet door and put a chair underneath the door knob. This way, Ben would be locked in the closet until his wife came home from work the next morning.

Upon examining the chair under the door, Amir thought that if Ben pounded on the closet door long and hard enough, there was a slight possibility that he could get the chair to fall. That would allow Ben to open the door. Amir then decided that it would be funny if Ben got hit in the face with a pie if he were able to get the closet door open. Amir did not see any pies in the refrigerator, so he decided to make one. When Amir could not find any pie tins, he used a cast iron frying pan to hold the pie. He filled the frying pan with whipped cream and positioned it above the closet door in a manner to cause it to spring forward at face level when the closet door opened. After everything was rigged to Amir's satisfaction, he left.

Claire, Ben's wife, left work early and wound up getting home in less than an hour after Amir left her house. When she went into the bedroom, she saw the chair underneath the closet door handle and could hear Ben snoring. She removed the chair and opened the door. When the closet door opened, the frying pan containing the whipped cream sprung forward and smacked her in the face, fracturing her jaw and breaking several teeth. She dragged Ben out of the closet, put him in bed, and then called a neighbor to take her to the hospital.

In the civil suit against Amir, what would be the possible cause(s) of action and the possibility of prevailing?
