One objective defining how I have integrated the competency of engaging inter-professional partnerships into this practicum experience was in the building of the Health Department's new Lead Abatement and Remediation grant team. We needed to select personnel from different department in city government to establish the grant staff. We asked housing and code enforcement officials to participate with us. These are professionals in their own departments who best know the community and the areas and homes where lead removal services are needed
