Data was collected for a simple random sample of 65 UPS Freight drivers and revealed an average of 7.6 accidents per year with a population standard deviation of 3.2 accidents per year while Fed Ex Freight drivers had an average of 7.7 accidents per year with a population standard deviation of 1.9 accidents per year when 60 drivers were randomly selected.
