One of the major discussions among economists is whether fiscal or monetary policies are preferable. The effect of fiscal policies are more direct or certain, but monetary policies relies on the expected behaviour of the companies (which in some case behave unexpectedly), but leaves the incentive to the private sector. Which type of government policy is according to you more efficient and preferable?
