A note about this article:The authors' use of the term "independent variable" was misleading here. There was actually no independent variable (nothing was manipulated). There was a participant variable (type of job) and the authors were looking for differences on a host of DEPENDENT variables.

1. What are the H₀and H₁for this study? Note that there may be more than one of each, and they're not explicitly stated. p. 328 is a good place to start looking for this answer. They should be consistent with the use of ANOVA (i.e., compare group means).
2. Did they compute the appropriate statistical analysis?
3. Discuss and evaluate the results of the study.
