This allows recruiters to skip looking a resume that do not contain these key words or phrases. The advantage of this software is that it saves recruiters a considerable amount of time and serves to make internet recruiting much less overwhelming for organizations who receive several hundred applications for a job posting.

The potential downside of this resume screening software is that it can result in overlooking highly qualified candidates or individuals with unique skill sets who would benefit the organization, but who may lack the exact experiences of the specific job criteria that the organization is requiring be present in the screening software when advertising for the position.
