One of the things many OBM consultants see time and time again is an overreliance on antecedents. Explain why over-reliance on antecedents is a problem and how this might impact performance in an organization. Review the types of interventions offered in the Weatherly and Malott (2008) article and discuss how you would use the antecedents listed to get behavior going in a client organization and the consequences listed to maintain the behaviors.
