One particle travels along the path p1(t) = 1.717 cos(0.69t + 6.115) 3.294, 1.717 sin(0.69t + 6.115) + 3.239, 0.5378t + 2 and another along

One particle travels along the path p1(t) = 1.717 cos(0.69t + 6.115) 3.294, 1.717 sin(0.69t + 6.115) + 3.239, 0.5378t + 2

and another along the path p2(t) = 2.606t + 1.081, 4.247t + 7.632, 2.396t 0.6029 .

The paths intersect at two points, one of which is a collision. Find the point where the particles collide and the other point where the paths intersect.

I know that the paths intersect when p1(t) = p2(s). Because the vectors of paths contain cosine and sine, I don't know how to solve it. Someone told me to use Matlab but I don't know how to use Matlab. I'm wondering if I have to solve it by using Matlab and how.
