Organizations have a duty and responsibility to deliver and create useful and sustainable products, but the sad reality is they don't. It reminds me of several products that I currently use today. This is called planned obsolescence. Iberdrola (2021) describes planned obsolescence as designing products to break quickly or become obsolete in the short to mid-term. The general idea behind this is to encourage sales of new products and upgrades, a practice banned in some countries (Iberdrola, 2021)
