Organizations worldwide discovered inherent issues with their supply chain strategies as they were brought to light by COVID-19. The pandemic caused a global disruption across most sectors and industries and nearly none were prepared for the pandemic.

The purpose of this research paper is to provide students with an opportunity to explore the following:

1. Why and how COVID-19 caused a global disruption in supply chains worldwide
2. Discuss two different organizations that experienced supply chain disruptions and analyze the impact it has had on each organization and how both organizations are trying to deal with the disruption.
3. A discussion of what you think organizations need to do to make their supply chains more resilient and collaborative and what lessons were learned.

Your paper should be 1500-2000 words in length, not including your cover sheet or reference/bibliography. The paper needs to be double-spaced, size 12 font, and while APA is not required, you must do the following:

For direct quotes from your sources - ensure you put quotes around the wording and at the end of the quote in brackets cite your source.

For paraphrased material - you will often use material from sources that you won't quote. If you are taking information new to you and including it in your paper but not directly quoting it, you must still give credit to your source by placing the source in brackets at the end of any paraphrased work.

It is not advisable to have a paper full of quotes and references as I want you to critically analyze the information you find in your sources and present it in your own words and compare/contrast findings from one source to another. That demonstrates that you have not just taken a face value what one resource might say.
