OS design is complex and unsolvable because:

1) OS design algorithms can be precisely optimized and verified

2)OS design is complex and there are too many avenues to choose in the design process

3)The code is too big and its security can't be guaranteed

4)Too many OS vendors and it is hard to assess their design optimizations.
