ou are the bank manager at one of the Big 5 Canadian banks. You have two account managers who report to you. One happens to be male and one is female. You know that approximately 30% of their total compensation is comprised of productivity bonuses. The more money they bring in for the bank, the more their bonus is at year end. One of your wealthiest clients comes to your office. They are currently a client of the female account manager and they have requested a switch to the male account manager. It is important to understand that while they are not dissatisfied with any aspect of the female account managers performance, they feel that a woman should not be in this role and they would be more comfortable switching to the male account manager.
