Our blood pressure is something that concerns most people because it's bad if it's too high and bad if it's too low. We are interested in what variables may be related to our systolic blood pressure. In particular we want to see if weight (in kilograms) is related to systolic blood pressure (in mm of mercury). In Fall 2015 a random sample of 20 residents in Nostress, Ontario was selected, and for each resident their weight and systolic blood pressure were recorded. We want to predict the systolic blood pressure from weight. The regression model assumptions have been checked, and they are all satisfied. Some relevant Minitab output is below.
