He is planning to sell 100 shares on July 28, 2020 for $3,000 to pay for the bar at his daughters wedding that weekend. He loves the stock and is planning to purchase 100 shares on August 16, 2020 and is expecting to pay $3,400 for the shares once the grooms father reimburses him for the bar. If he does not get reimbursed, for whatever reason, he is planning to buy 100 shares with the Christmas money he gets each year from his mother. He expects to be able to do that on December 27, 2020 he is expecting to pay $3,400 for those 100 shares as well.
