Our college of business network is composed of networks in three adjacent buildings: Caldwell

Hall (a classroom building), Brooks Hall (faculty offices), and Sanford Hall (classrooms). All but

one server (file servers, Web servers, and mail servers) were located in Caldwell Hall. The

original network design called for all three buildings to be connected to the campus backbone

and to be connected to each other via our own college-wide internal backbone (see the figure

below). However, due to cost considerations not all segments were actually built.
