Our company called "NEUROcommunicate" focuses on improving the quality and lifestyle of individuals suffering from neurological conditions which include dementia related disorders such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease as well as focusing on individuals who suffer from ALS. It's important to understand that when the symptoms of these neurological disorder's advances, communication becomes one of the biggest difficulties for these patients. Being able to communicate is one of the most important survival needs that we require as human beings. When communication becomes a barrier, patients often find themselves frustrated and angry. The goal of our company is to alleviate the stress that comes with patients not being able to communicate well with their families, friends and most importantly healthcare providers. We recently have invested in a new device called "Alter-Ego "that we have purchased from MIT.
The aim of our business is to utilize "Alter-Ego" which is a wearable peripheral neural device that allows humans to communicate in their natural tone without the need for them to voice out their opinions.
