our friend can choose to take any combination of items from the list, and in the case of some items, he can take all, some, or only one unite (see column labeled "piece(s)"). For example, he can take all three bananas, two of them, only one, or zero. He may not break apart any of the items, he can take only whole units, so a half banana isn't happening.

1. Which of the items does the tourist carry in his knapsack so that their total weight does not exceed 4kg, and total value is maximized?

2. The list, weight, and values are all OK, but it seems that a refinement to this formulation is in order. As you study the list and current approach, what modifications would you suggest that woukd result in a better answer? (Note - these modiifications should continue with the same general appraoch, but help us arrive at he better answer. Commenting on your percieved value of some of these items isn't what i'm looking for.
