Out of 25 people that took the time to answer my survey 14 people think that the Mask Mandate should not last until the end of 2021 while 11 people think that the Mask Mandate should. I calculated that with a 90% confidence the population mean is between 1.4 and 1.72, based on only 25 samples. The margin of error is +/- 0.163. This means that a 90% confidence interval is 1.56 +/- 0.163. When I calculated with a 95% confidence the population mean is between 1.36 and 1.76 and the margin of error is +/- 0.195. In summary a 95% confidence interval is 1.56+/-0.195. With the difference in the two intervals, as expected the confidence interval remained the same however the margin of error increased with the change. If we were to increase the population sampled and recalculate the confidence interval would begin to decrease. This occurs because the margin of error decreases which makes the interval narrower
