Part 1:
Antecedents are variables thought to cause job satisfaction/dissatisfaction. The consequences are the positive and negative outcomes that occur because of job satisfaction. Review past research, and then a chart that outlines the following:
- Five (5) antecedents of job satisfaction/dissatisfaction
- Provide a definition of each antecedent, describe the relationship between the antecedent and job satisfaction (e.g., job satisfaction is caused by high/low levels of "X"), and identify at least one study to support your discussion of each antecedent variable.
- Five (5) consequences of job satisfaction/dissatisfaction
- Define each consequence, describe the relationship between the consequence and job satisfaction (e.g., high/low job satisfaction results in high/low levels of "X"), and identify at least one study to support your discussion of each outcome variable.
