Your goal for this project is twofold: Identify a specific organisation, project, or research effort that makes use of massive data sets in a way that individual privacy issues have a practical influence on the endeavour. These could include effects such as data anonymization, the inclusion of data deletion capabilities, ensuring secure access for authorised personnel, and so on$.$ Personal experience or a research paper published within the last two years may be used to select a research project$/$group$.$ If you are discussing a project from your own experience for a firm, please ensure that you have authorization to do so and that you do not expose any confidential information that could result in personal consequences. The other students in the class will see these presentations.

Summarise the ethical and legal considerations highlighted by this data, and how you would address these concerns if you were a management or researcher in control of its use. Legal problems should be addressed from both the HIPAA and GDPR perspectives, including a brief examination of how these regulations differ in their impact on this project.
