Over the past decade we've seen a proliferation of streaming services. There is a battle forming between traditional content providers and those who deliver the product to consumers. This affects cable companies, internet service providers, streaming services and production companies that create content. For example, Fox recently decided to cancel 9-1-1, which is their top rated show, for interesting financial reasons. Fox News is trying to, once again, increase their per-customer fees from cable companies, but now with push back from a significant portion of the cable viewer base.
