For the life of me, I have no clue what Price/Rate variance means. I have also found multiple calculations for "efficiency," one of which gives me 1,250 U and another which gives me 4,250 F. How do you determine which "efficiency" is the correct one?
The original calculation I did came up with 1,250 U for the Volume variance and $4,250 F for the Efficiency variance, which means the Price/Rate variance would be 1,390 U. But how do I get that number independently? Further, I would assume the Price / Rate variance would be favorable, but that would make my numbers even more incorrect. Any advice?
