Over the past20+years,there have been three major technological paradigm shifts that have impacted the legal profession and society at large.These are,broadly stated:(1)the development of email,thus allowing much more rapid communication with clients and colleagues;(2)mass use of the Internet,thus allowing much more efficient factual and legal research;and(3)the use of cloud storage,which allows users to access data and software from any computing device.

Our question is this:what do we think the next major paradigm shift will be?Is it already underway?And what do we think its impact will be on the legal profession?
