Overview:

In this Deep Dive assignment, you'll explore the real-world impact of Agile methodologies by researching a case study where a team or organization experienced significant benefits from adopting Agile. The case can span any industry but must be publicly documented. Stories from your personal or professional experiences are not eligible for this assignment.

Instructions:

1. Finding the Story:
   • Utilize various platforms such as Google, YouTube, Medium, or academic journals to find a suitable case study or story.
   • Opt for stories that are well-documented through articles, blog posts, case studies, or videos.
   • Make sure the story is publicly accessible and not from your personal or professional experience.
2. Conducting the Research:
   • After identifying a compelling story, dig deeper into the specifics. Find out what things they did, what they skipped, and what they failed to implement.
   • Gather data, metrics, testimonials, or any qualitative information that can bolster your analysis.
   • Take note of the Agile frameworks, practices, or principles that were employed, and how they were implemented in the story.
3. Understanding the Impact of Agile:
   • Compare the Agile elements in your chosen story with the concepts discussed in class.
   • Use both course material and external resources to identify the Agile-related components that contributed to the success of the project. Think about how they were implemented, refined, or executed.
   • Look for key Agile concepts, practices, or frameworks that you recognize from class discussions, and explain how they were applied in your chosen story.

• How Did Agile Make A Difference:
  • Elaborate on the Agile elements that were pivotal to the story's success.
  • Use data, metrics, or quotes to substantiate your points.
• Ways to Improve:
  • Offer a critical analysis, identifying 2-3 areas where the team or group could have made a change to increase the impact of Agile.
  • Was there a mistake they made? A new tactic they didn't implement? Or some aspect of agile they failed to get right?
  • If they did everything perfectly, discuss what they did to execute so well.
