PA$$s are considered agents of a supervising physician and may prescribe medications, including controlled substances. For products listed in Schedule II$,$ they may prescribe for one period ofnot more than $\_\_\_$ days; except as authorized by federal law which allows for multiple CII prescriptions written for a period not to exceed $\_\_\_$ day supply if appropriately dated on the day of issue and which include a date in which the subsequent prescriptions may be filled. They may also write for a $\_\_\_\_$ day supply for partial filling for long term care and hospice patients as allowed by state and federal law.
