However, she recently noticed that she was being treated differently compared to her male colleagues by her supervisor, Mr$.$ Johnson.

Mr$.$ Johnson made inappropriate comments and jokes of a sexual nature towards Emily, creating a hostile work environiment for her. Despite her repeated complaints to HR$,$ no action was taken to address Mr$.$ Johnson's behavior, and he continued to harass her.
