Pandemic Stimulus as Fiscal Policy

To help the economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic, Congress passed three stimulus bills - the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (theCARES Act) passed on March 27, 2020, the Consolidated Appropriations Act passed in December 2020, and the American Rescue Plan passed on March 21, 2021.

This week, I'd like you to pick one of these bills to research. I do not expect you to discuss all the different aspects of your bill as these are very complex pieces of legislation. Instead, pick one or two aspects of these bills and describe how they are fiscal policy.

Specifically, how are they intended to help the economy? Who are they intended to help - people or businesses, for example? Do you think their intended effect will help the economy?
