Paradox of warning

This is a research-based assignment, weighted at 70% of the overall module mark. It should take you approximately 20 hours to complete. You are required to expand on the title and explain how different cyber operations can support a defensive cyber security strategy that is making use of the paradox of warning.

Your report should consist of the following parts:

a) Information Environment characteristics (up to 20 marks)

You are also expected to identify and justify attributes that uniquely characterize the modern IE, addressing the concept of the GIE as described in the module.

b) Cyber Operation Taxonomy (up to 20 marks)

The taxonomy should be addressing the requirements/characteristics of the modern Information Environment.

c) Paradox of Warning (up to 20 marks)

The explanation should take into consideration your cyberoperation taxonomy the identified information needs.

d) Critical Discussion(up to 40 marks)

You are expected to synthesize a defensive cyber security strategy, built around the concept of the paradox of warning, explaining how the cyber operations you have modelled can support such a strategy.
