Table Q3: Stream data (a) What is Pinch technology and explain why it is utilised in chemical and process industries? (b) Calculate the external heating and cooling requirements if there is no heat recovery between the streams? (c) If the minimum allowable temperature difference between the streams is (20+a)C, where parameter a represents the last digit of your student registration number. For example, if your student number ends in a '6' the minimum allowable temperature different between the streams would be 26C.
