What do you think is the single biggest complexity associated with how crime affects disabled people generally? Is that single complexity able to be adequately studied on its own, or is it so closely related to others that they really cannot be separated? Does any statistics or other forms of scholarly resources (including those from other fields, like law enforcement, healthcare, sociology, business, etc.) support your assertion? Why or why not?

What do you think is the best approach for supporting victims of disabled people throughout the criminal justice process, especially with respect to the complexity that you highlighted? (For example, those who do not speak English fluently obviously may need interpreter services. But for those who are recent immigrants who also do not yet even understand the basic American way of life may need additional assistance.) Would an expert in another profession agree entirely with your assessment, or do you think that a social worker (or teacher or psychologist, etc.) might have other recommendations to add? In other words, could collaboration with other kinds of experts help or hurt such situations? Either way, how so?

How did conducting research help you to expand what you may have already known about victim advocacy? Did you learn any new research techniques or resources to help you learn more about victim advocacy, or to explore within any other allied field (e.g., criminology, sociology, psychology, healthcare, etc.)? Does (or can) technology help in any way?
