Represent a specialization hierarchy, not just notations and symbols
Be unique (i.e., do not provide variations of the same model)
Have at least four or more entities and several attributes
Include at least one with multiple levels of subtypes (like on page 173)
The examples do not have to be perfectyou will have the opportunity to explain incorrect components
