Part 1 I spent a lot of time explaining Eysenck's quadrants, and I asked you many questions on the quiz about how people fit into these quadrants. Later in the video, I start to discuss how different people from different quadrants (or the same) may interact with one another. I began to break down the potential benefits and challenges we all face when interacting with people from our quadrants and other quadrants. I also discussed how working in different types of jobs with varying difficulties of life occurring based on one's quadrant can impact their mental health. Assuming Eysenck's theories around these quadrants are generally accurate, please answer the following questions: 1. Consider yourself and the jobs or situations you've found yourself in often (at home, school, on sports teams, with friends, etc.), and discuss how your general personality relative to your quadrant has interacted with your selected environment. For example, maybe you really wanted to do well at something or enjoy it more than you did, but your personality, as presented by Eysenck, was a mismatch somehow. Conversely, maybe you found something to fit your personality exceptionally well even though you weren't initially drawn to it. 2. Think through your experience at this point and this portion of the lecture, and present a few scenarios you have seen outside your own where two people from different quadrants have had great success and unfortunate failure. Give one example of each, and explain how the dynamic played out. Now that you know more about these personality variables, why do you think it worked the way it did? You can draw on examples you've seen in your family, your friends at school, from interactions you've watched closely at work, or anywhere else in your life. Make sure you choose examples you understand, as you know the people on both sides well, so you can address why it worked and didn't.
