Part $2$: Analyze a new $($and very scientifically important$)$ dataset

$1.$ Write a prediction about what you think the outcome will be

$$ Make an educated guess to answer your chosen question and predict the relationship $($if any$)$ of

your variables. Record your group$$s prediction in your lab notebook.

$2.$ Analyze the new dataset with descriptive statistics

$$ Select the question by signing your group$$s name or number next to the question on the board.

Each group must only select one question, and each group must select a different

question.

$$ Find the data that correspond to your question in the excel sheet posted in our Canvas.

After downloading the document, find the data for your question in the appropriate tab in

the Excel sheet.

$$ Compute appropriate descriptive statistics for the new dataset including the following of

any replicated groups:

$$ The average

$$ The standard deviation

$$ The standard error

$$ Organize and present these data as a table in your group lab notebook and include a table

caption that describes what the table is showing.

figures $($graphs or images$)$ are placed below a figure in the document.

$3.$ Create a graph that accurately shows the trends in your data, and

addresses your question

$$ Construct a graph that illustrates the trends in your provided data. Ensure that your graph has

all necessary components, such as:

o The graph is an appropriate type to show the data you collected.

o The graph should show the summarized data as clearly as possible.

o Axis labels that include relevant units

o A figure legend if you have more than one dataset in your graph.

o Error bars should be included for each group, and should use your computed standard

error.

o You need a figure caption below your graph that describes what the graph is showing

and what the error bars represent.

$4.$ Briefly describe your group$$s interpretation of the provided data:
