Part 3. Discussion of Strategic Alignment.You are to describe and defend your strategic plan on the basis of strategic alignment. This means that you are not only to seek strategic alignment , such as asection (not just a paragraph) starting with the sentence, "my plan is strategically aligned because..." You should be specific in your defense, making specific references to the university's strategic plan and the 10 specific projects you have ranked.Be sure to explain how your selected projects fits in with all five strategic priorities. For example, you explain why each strategic priority is important, and then select your project and show the order of most important to least important priorities as it pertains to your projects. Remember, to address all priorities.

PROJECTS:

1. STAY FIT: An application that promotes the health and well being of students. I feel that the rec is a great amenity for students to stay in shape and have fun. Along with that, we should incorporate an app that allows students to exchange their good habits for jagbucks. An application can be created to track students steps across campus and exchange jagbucks for a certain amount of steps. We can also have other subjects in the app such as the dining hall menu for the day. This app would allow students one place to keep up with their health rather than having to have multiple apps that perform a different task.

2. JAG CONNECT: An application would be for incoming freshmen to help meet new people that would also be coming to campus. Also, it would be for any classification level to help socialize and be able to make new friends around campus. It will also be a place to post event flyers, game day attire, or any other organized event that would be occurring on campus during that semester.

3. THE SLEEPING PAW This application will allow students to mange their sleep during study nights, finals, or last minute deadlines that need to be met. With college students their school schedules are quite busy and sleep is maybe not the top pirority; however it needs too since being sleep deprived can affect the things while your awake such as eating habits.Therefore, with Sleeping Paw the app can help decrease the blue light on screens during certian periods of day so that the users know that it is time for a break from their screens or even time for sleep. The application will also offer features that can help wih relaxtion, timers , and sleep/ wake schedules so students know exactly when the most effective time to sleep is so they can reset and refocus.

4. JAG VENT: An application that will allow students of the university to vent about things that they are experiencing in school anonymously. This application will be used to improve the mental health of students who may be going through stressful times. Being able to express these feelings with others who may be going through similar things may allow students to see that they are not alone with certain things they may experience.

5. JAG PAY: This application would allow students to add their JagCard to their Apple and Samsung Wallets. After collaborating with local business to incorporate JagPay into their register systems students would also be able to use their JagBucks to shop off campus. This would be a huge opportunity for South and give students benefits for something that is already included with their on campus tuition.This would also make it easier to add money to your JagCard. Besides being able to use this as another way to pay it could be used as another way to have your JagCard on you without having to have the physical card. It would have the barcode that is on your physical card so it can be scanned for entry into campus wide events.
