The company has a 30 September financial year end and is NOT registered for VAT. Crusher Ltd was incorporated during 2017 with authorised share capital of 4 000 000 ordinary no-par value shares. Upon incorporation the company issued 1 400 000 ordinary no-par value shares. The balance on the share capital account amounted to R 4 300 000 on 1 October 2019. The balance on the retained earnings account amounted to R 1 076 000 as at 1 October 2019. 1. Share capital On 1 March 2020 the directors of Crusher Ltd offered 1 200 000 ordinary no-par value shares to the general public at R 5,60 per share. By the closing date of 31 March 2020, the company received 1 400 000 applications from the general public. On 1 April the directors allotted the full number of shares offered to the public, with unsuccessful applicants refunded on the same day. Share issue costs amounting to R 100 000 were paid on 31 March 2020. 2. Dividends On 1 February 2020 the directors of Crusher Ltd declared an interim dividend amounting to R 0-92 cents per share to all shareholders registered on 31 January 2020. The dividend was paid on 28 February 2020. A final dividend amounting to R 0-64 cents per share was declared on 30 September 2020 to all shareholders registered on 30 September 2020. The dividend was paid on 7 October 2020.
