The source of the data is https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/whenamancodes/credit-card-customers- prediction filtered for the existing customers only. This dataset contains a random sample of credit card customers from a bank. It contains information on customers' age, salary, marital status, credit card limit, credit card category, etc. It is used to analyse various aspects of transactions. Hover your cursor over the variable names in the dataset to see a description of the variables. Instructions: You are required to create a new column labelled Credit_Limit_Category as follows: Credit limit at most $2000 as "Low" Credit limit greater than $2000 and at most $10,000 as "Medium" Credit limit greater than $10,000 and at most $20,0000 as "High" Credit limit greater than $20,000 as "Very High" (Hints: There are 1029 and 1080 customers in the "Low" and "Very High" credit limit categories, respectively.) Question 1 (15 marks) a) Based on the categories above, compare the distribution of the variable total transaction amount (Total Trans_Amt) between married and single customers with (i) Low credit limit (ii) Very High credit limit Use appropriate measures such as summary statistics and histograms to discuss typical values of central tendency measures shape of the distributions b) Using the credit limits and marital statuses in (a), does the single or married customer group show more variability in the transaction amount? Support your answer with a suitable explanation and all variability measures. Note: In your answers, use appropriate evidence and provide contextual interpretations for all measures discussed.
